ABOUT ORGANIZATION

.......Shri Tegginamath Arts & Education Society, Harapanahalli of Bellary District was founded in 1969 by his holiness Shri. Sha::Bra::Chandramouleshwara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, a dedicated philosopher and Karmayogi who is fully committed to the cause of education. He has been ably assisted by the governing council and thousands of his followers. He has established several. Educational, technical and medical institutions through out the state catering to the needs of down trodden, and backward class learners.

.......Teacher Training Institute has been started in the year 1970 vide recognition no. TE2783-RGN-15/69-70, Date 06-06-1970/ TE6-2783/RGN/15/69-70, Date 26-03-1971, NCTE No. KR/E/07/SRO/NCTE/2004-05/82. Date: 05-04-2005. Keeping in consonance with the great national demand for primary school teachers.

.......Over the last 40 years the institute has trained up thousands of teachers who have been rendering service all over Karnataka. The institute has been admitted to grants in aid in 1978. It is one of the best Teachers Training Institute with a adequate infrastructural facilities and teaching faculty. The intake capacity of the institute is 120. Seminars, symposium, Lectures on various issues have been organised every year to equip the budding teachers with best possible knowledge of current issues specially in the field of education.

.......The founder his Holiness Sha::Bra::Chandramouleshwara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji has taken care of this Teachers Training Institution and has made it a model one. Swamiji has been ably assisted by the Secretary Sri. T.M. Chandrashekharaiah who makes best possible efforts to develop this institute in to a model training centre in the state.

.......The institute was started in the year 1970 vide (State Government) recognition accorded by Department of Public Instructions Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore. The management appointed teacher educators, to train up the teachers trainees. The salary was borne by the management until the Teachers Training Institute got in to grant in aid. Students from all over Karnataka took interest to join here and get trained. Presently the intake capacity is 120. We have adequate lecturer halls, laboratories, play field, library and teaching staff.
